We now have the wonderfully delicate Cradle Valley Pinot Noir from Rathfinny in Sussex. It’s light (only 11% ABV) but carries plenty of flavor, combining earthy hedgerow flavours and black tea… a kind of afternoon’s bramble picking in the form of an infusion!
Also from Rathfinny, their Classic Cuvée Sparkling – a wine that shows that the Sussex downland is now capable of producing wines to give the chalky vineyards of Champagne a run for their money. It’s also a very approachable £26 a bottle.
We’ve also got a new more approachable red Burgundy, called the B de Chanzy. It’s easy-going classic cherry packed, soft and comforting Burgundy and great value for £17.
Fans of the Origine Chardonnay and Domaine de Valdition Alpilles wines will be pleased to hear that we have a pallet of 100 cases arriving from the South of France next week. (We brought a few cases in to try a few weeks back and my, did Kensal Rise like them.)
Our last new product news is really cool. Literally. We now sell bags of ice!
