Jezreel Adumim
This is Mediterranean / Middle Eastern winemaking history in a glass. The Persians gave us Syrah, or Shiraz (as much of the world knows it) named after the city in Iran from which it originates. Carignan goes back to Cariñena in Spain and may well have arrived there with the Moors.
