Pique Poul Rosé, Les Vignobles de Foncalieu
A Kensal Rise favourite, we import this wine directly from the Languedoc, so you’ll not find this in many places this side of The Channel. But that’s not all that makes it rare. Unlike the white wine variety, Picpoul Noir is a very rare grape variety. We’re very happy to have it here.

Languedoc & South West France
Picpoul Noir has been grown in Southern France for centuries, but all but 250 acres of this grape remain in cultivation. It is originally from the Languedoc and is one of the 13 grapes permitted in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Very pale pink color. Light bodied and clean with refreshing acidity, bright rose petal aromas, citrus notes and mouth-filling cherry bonbon finish.
