3 bottles each of Flora & Fauna White and Flora & Faune Red…
Flora & Fauna Blanc – 95% Grenache Blanc, 5% Sauvignon Blanc. Grenache Blanc is one of the classic grapes of Southern French whites. It gets dependably ripe in long, dry, hot summers to produce a wine that is elegant and fresh, with stone fruit aromas, pear and a little almond. Sauvignon Blanc – riper hear than in the Loire – adds a dash of its distinctive, aromatic fresh, grassy twang and mineral complexity to give this wine a sense of quality that belies the price-tag.
Flora & Fauna Rouge – 60% Merlot, 20% Mourvedre, 20% Grenache Noir. Reds of the Languedoc are known for the peppery, herbal way they compliment food. Merlot is not traditional for the South of France (its home is in Bordeaux) but it’s being used more and more for the velvet soft plums and red fruit that it adds to the mix. Mourvèdre brings herbs such as rosemary, sage and thyme, and Grenache rounds the whole thing out with rounder, deeper black fruit.
We are also offering cases of Flora & Fauna Red and White for the same fantastic value price.
