Veramonte Carmenere
If you like Argentinian Malbec, you should give this Carménère a go – an organic wine from Colchuaga in central Chile. Like Malbec over the border, it was once common in Bordeaux but has dropped out of use there to find a new ideal habitat in Chilé. It has similar characteristics to Malbec too: fragrant fruit, herbal and spicy notes, and earthy leathery depths.

The emblematic variety of Chile finds its most faithful expression in the Colchagua Valley. The vineyards located in the renowned Marchigüe area have optimal conditions for the development of the Carménère, resulting in wines of great concentration and structure, with notes of plum and blackberry, with hints of rosemary and pepper. The traditional Chilean preparations invite you to enjoy this wine as a family, with a rich plateada in the oven or a pastel de choclo.
