A touch of skin contact brings texture to this Languedoc style of rosé — rich coral in hue, vibrant in flavor. Merlot/syrah rosé, with a dark salmon colour. Aged in bottle. Think Tavel!
Henry and Harriet are two passionate winemakers on an adventure shaped by twists, turns, and a shared love for the land. They’re inspired by the adventurous spirit in us all—the part that chases passions, embraces uncertainty, and choses adventure over conformity.
Their zigzagging path has taken them from Australia to the rugged beauty of the Montagnes Noires in the Languedoc, France. Amid the garrigues and crags, overlooking the Pyrenees, they nurture 10 organic vineyard plots perched between 200 – 450 metres above sea level.
Marsanne, Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah are just some of the Mediterranean varietals they cultivate to craft elegant, fresh wines that express a true sense of place.
In 2017, they traded corporate careers that left them uninspired for a life among the vines in Australia. Starting in vineyards in the ancient volcanic soils of the Macedon Ranges, Victoria, they learned the art of growing exceptional grapes and the philosophy of minimalist winemaking: letting the fruit speak for itself.
Creativity and a willingness to question convention have shaped their approach, guiding them to craft wines that are both authentic and adventurous.
