Amoterra means to ‘love the land’, this is the ethos of this fab winemaker that’s dedicated in making sustainable wine more accessible. The Montepulciano grapes are hand-harvested in the first week of October from organic vineyards in the Abruzzo region. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel using selected yeasts. The wine spends 15 days on the lees to give extra complexity and then a further 6 months maturing in bottle before release.
This is a vibrant a modern Montepulciano that bursting with juicy dark fruit character and great concentration. the tannins are fresh and light and at 13% alcohol it’s a great lunchtime red.
