Ah Grenache. ?We love Grenache. ?But this one’s unique. ?Grown at altitude in the region of Catalonia called the Terra Alta (literally ‘high ground’) and caressed by the warm evening wind called El Garbi – an old Arab name from the days of the Caliphate. ?It’s a light delight that might almost be mistaken for an extra juicy Pinot Noir. ?We are really pleased to have added this to our range, joining its white grenache counterpart, also called El Garbi.

El Garbi, the Arab wind that blows through our vineyards plays a vital role in ventilating the canopy and bringing warmth to the high altitude sites.
Destemmed, two thirds fermented to dryness in steel tanks with the final third finishing its fermentation in barrique. Matured for seven months in French oak barriques (third fill).
Upfront red fruit, perfumed, with just a sprinkle of spice from the oak. Juicy and very drinkable.Soft tannins supported by moderate but refreshing acidity.Perfect with lighter red meats or serve lightly chilled with chicken and veal.
