The Pietradolce Etna Rosso is a red wine made from the Nerello Mascalese grape, grown in a single vineyard on the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. Aged for three months in lightly toasted French oak barrels before bottling the Etna Rosso has a bouquet of berry fruit and brushwood; elegance, minerality and excellent length on the palate.

92/100, Decanter, “Smart picks from Italy’s top producers”
“Fragrant aromas of cherry, raspberry, herbs, chocolate and spice are joined by a subtle saline tang. It’s a similar theme in the mouth, with herbs and spice dancing around the core of vibrant, juicy raspberry and cherry fruits. Creamy softness emerges on the mid-palate, as well as some tannic grip, leading to a long, fresh, slightly saline finish that leaves you wanting another sip.” James Button, Oct 2020
