So, named for James Lind – surgeon to the royal navy in the 18th century who discovered that scurvy was a vitamin C deficiency and prescribed carrying barrels of limes (they last well) on all of the navy’s ships. (Rum + lime… the original inspiration of the daiquiri, btw.)
With juniper front and centre, the crisp citrus of fresh lime peel and the gentle spice of pink peppercorns, Lind & Lime is beautifully balanced, intensely refreshing and the very definition of what a London Dry Gin should taste like.
