This Pinotage, South Africa’s very own grape variety, offers dark ripe fruit, spices, subtle smoke and ash.
Rhebokskloof Estate is located in the heart of Paarl, one of South Africa’s most renowned wine producing areas. The cooling effect of the mountains enables winemaker Rolanie Lotz to make exceptional wines. Pinotage was cultivated in 1925 as a cross between Pinot noir and Cinsaut (Cinsaut was known as “Hermitage” in South Africa at that time, hence the name)
