Straw yellow colour with gold reflections and a fine, persistent bubble. On the nose this sparkling wine is quite intense on the nose and it is dominated by flowery aromas and notes of dry nuts. In the mouth it’s fresh and well-balanced on the mouth. Its bubble is highly integrated.
The natural attributes and the aromatic richness of Salnés Valley albariño grape inspired Terra De Asorei to experiment with producing a sparkling wine following the traditional method as used in Champagne, Crémant and other regions. After 10 years of fine-tuning, they are truly excited to present the Pazo Torrado ‘1953’ sparkling Albariño, an innovation in the history of Albariño.
The wine takes it’s name from 1953, the year when the first Albariño Wine Festival was held.
