The Sexton Irish Single Malt

The creation of master blender Alex Thomas, The Sexton Single Malt Irish whiskey is made from 100% Irish malted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills. After, the liquid is aged in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks imparting a rich and fruity character. It comes in a rather eye-catching hexagonal bottle, too. Rich aromas of nuts, marzipan and dark chocolate with a pinch of spice. On the palate there is dried fruit followed by honeycomb sweetness, apricots, lemon zest, prunes and oak spice. The finish is woody on the finish, with honeyed sweetness coming through.
