Chateau Simon is actually in Barsac but adopts the Sauternes designation (Barsac being a sub-district thereof). It`s a small property making just 250 cases a year from 80% Sémillon, 18% Sauvignon Blanc & 2% Muscadelle. Made from late harvested Semillon grapes grown on the left bank of the river Garonne.
