Château Buisson-Redon Bordeaux
The old Buffton-Tufftons call all Bordeaux reds ‘claret’ from the French word ‘clairette’ used to describe a light, red wine.? But nowadays most Bordeaux reds are too big and powerful to really warrant that name.? Well here is a lovely lighter Bordeaux, sustainably farmed, too, and cracking value to boot.Get your pink cords on, fray your Viyella shirt cuffs, patch the elbows of your tweed jacket, and tuck in to this lovely claret!

This 30 year old vineyard directly neighbours the Fronsac AOC and is planted with 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc. Traditional Bordeaux winemaking techniques are used with partial ageing in oak barrels to bring smoothness and elegance to this wine.
Proper Bordeaux with dark berry aromas and pleasant cinnamon and nutmeg spice. The palate is medium-bodied and structured with round, warm fruit and a velvety finish.
