Ferghettina Franciacorta Brut
Unlike a new Jeffrey Archer novel, this is not one to miss!
Equally, do not be mistaken, this is not Prosecco. This is Italian sparkling wine made the traditional way, like they do in Champagne or with any other French Crémant, with a second fermentation in the bottle to give it those complex, bready-yeasty notes that we love in proper fizz. A little lighter than most French sparklers, this one has a beautiful, light floral notes.

An exuberant, confident and bright style – lively and very approachable with a citrus fruits and golden apple character which is at the same time both incisive yet quite gentle.
‘Méthode Traditionelle’: A base wine is fermented normally and then it is bottled, dosed with a yeast syrup and sealed with a crown cork. A second fermentation takes place in the bottle before the residual dead yeast sediment is ‘disgorged’ and the bottle sealed with the traditional Champagne cork and cage.
