Heidsieck & Co. Monopole ‘Gold Top’ Brut, 2018

Probably one of the best value vintage Champagne’s we’ve ever tasted. Absolutely delicious! Think running a fine oaky, buttery white Burgundian chardonnay through a Soda stream!

Medium yellow with golden glints, good sustained bead. Praline, and dried citrus lead the nose with some red berries. Fairly soft in the mouth but with great depth and richness. The flavours are evolving bringing in notes of dried tropical fruits and nut brittle and buttered toast. Sustained length onthe satisfying finish.
