A lot of water has passed under the bridge since we last had a jazz evening at R&V. If you were a customer before the pandemic, you may well have had the luck to see and hear Alba Plano performing a mix of standards and her own material at Rise & Vine on a few occasions. Remember Valentine’s 2020?
Since then, and since spending chunks of lockdowns writing new material back in her native Sicily, Alba has also found the time to add one small unit to the human race as well! (Which seems to have turned her hair mauve.)
Of course, if you’re passing, just drop in and check out Alba on the evening of Friday 20 October. She’ll be performing a couple of sets, starting around 7pm. All that we ask is that you buy a glass or two of wine and maybe make a small contribution towards the band’s expenses. However, that may be standing room only. If you’d like to reserve a seat, then we’re offering the deal of a reservation including a glass of wine and a cheeseboard for £25 a head. You can book in the shop, or on our website
