A premier cru quadrupel beer, aged for 10 years to create a strong (11% alcohol) concentrated, sweet-yet-complex, full-mouthed, malty beer with touches of caramel, coffee and chocolate. Beer journalists liken it to Port, although fans of oak-aged Primitivo will also spot similarities in it’s dark chocolate/cherry depths. Savour it, don’t slug it!
