Klipfel Gewurztraminer
Intense golden yellow colour, typical of the variety. Delicate fragrance of rose petals and exotic fruits such as lychee on the nose.?A well-balanced wine with a long finish. The palate is like those on the nose, rose petals, lychee and exotic fruit.

A beautiful interpretation of one of the most important grape varieties grown in Alsace, Gewürztraminer. After harvesting, the grapes are fermented at a temperature between 18 and 24°C to extract all the aroma and richness of flavour of the original grapes. In the glass it has a beautiful intense straw yellow colour, with greenish reflections that reveal the freshness of the wine. The nose surprises with fine and elegant aromas that develop around the most typical varietal notes of fruit, acacia honey and fresh flowers. It does not disappoint in the mouth. It is a wine with a good body, not excessive, but soft and elegant. Pleasant is the acidity that accompanies the sip and makes the wine also suitable for a gastronomic combination.
A fine family business, the one founded in Barr by Martin Klipfel in 1824. Since then, six generations have succeeded one another at the helm of the winery and today the company is rightly considered a reference point for viticulture in Alsace. The founder’s son, Eugène, was a true pioneer in the production of Vendanges Tardives and Sèlections de Grains Nobles, even 60 years before official recognition. Today, Jean-Louis and Anne-Sophie are at the helm of the maison, working tirelessly to expand their markets and bring the Alsatian style to the world.
