Table Whisky is The Leith Export Company’s new whisky a single grain, unfiltered, naturally coloured, single grain whisky distilled in Edinburgh, matured in virgin oak and sherry casks, and blended in Leith.

It’s a grain whisky, you’ll note, as their first malt whisky is still at least 5 years away.

It’s delicious, reliable, approachable and rich, showing toffee popcorn paired with raspberry pavlova with plenty of buttercream topped with ginger cake, vanilla, cinnamon and the tell tale notes of banana that you’d expect to find in American grain whiskies.

Obviously that’s going to be lovely neat, but try it with a splash of ginger ale and a twist of lime. Or use it instead of Bourbon in cocktail recipes.
